Here’s how you use the Relief Pak® Cold n’ Hot® Donut® compression sleeve:
Step 1
Talk to your primary healthcare provider. Individuals with circulatory problems should not use the Donut sleeve unless under the direction of a physician.
Step 2
Slip the insulating gauze liner or equivalent cloth on the limb in need of treatment. Never place the warmed or frozen pack directly on the skin. Always use the liner to prevent frostbite or burns.
Step 3
Insert the limb into the sleeve and gently roll it into place.
Step 4
Relax, and leave the pack in place for 20 minutes. Do not exceed 20 minutes for cold applications.
Step 5
When finished, store the sleeve in the original foil bag or in a zip-lock bag. Keep in the refrigerator or freezer when not in use.
