Hand therapy is great resource for those who have an injured hand or have just came out of hand surgery. TheraPutty® for Hand TherapyDuring a hand therapy session, hand therapists will use certain hand rehabilitation tools that they think will aid in a fast and efficient recovery. One such tool that is commonly used is TheraPutty® hand exercise putty.

TheraPutty® hand exercise material is the standard in resistive hand exercise putty. Each color-coded putty has a different resistance (consistency) ranging from xx-soft for strengthening a weak grasp to extra-firm for developing a strong grip. It comes in many varieties including: scented, antimicrobial, microwavable and even sparkle to engage those with sensory issues during their hand therapy sessions. Putty is great for most hand exercises and can take many forms to help aid in the hand rehabilitation process. Exercises such as finger pinches and palm grasps with the different resistances will get the patient’s hand working properly in no time.
