Instant Heat Therapy

Posted on in Industry News, News

Heat Therapy has been used for centuries as a simple and effective way to manage pain, joint and muscular stiffness. Heat not only relieves pain but it enhances the recovery process. By increasing tissue elasticity, heat reduces your resting muscle tension and helps relax painful knots and muscles. However, not many products offer instant heat therapy.

Most heat packs need to be heated in hot water or a microwave. This can be time consuming and it limits the ability to take heat therapy with you to the gym, to work, or on vacation. Luckily, we invented the Relief Pak Hot Button Compress to provide instant heat therapy. Each compress has disks in the pack which when flexed and activated generate soothing heat. The heat starts instantaneously and maintains its warmth for up to 30 minutes. The compress disks can be recharged by boiling the compress in a pot of water.

Here’s how you use the Hot Button compress:

Activate and Use:

Step 1 – Wrap the compress in a cloth to prevent it from touching the bottom or the sides of the pot. Place it in boiling water for 5 to 12 minutes until all the crystals melt. If all the crystals are not melted, the compress will return to a solid state while cooling. Remove the compress from the pot with tongs. Lay the pack somewhere and allow it to cool.

Once the pack is cool, keep it in your car, gym back, or desk to ensure that it is available whenever instant heat therapy is needed!
