Time to get Antimicrobial

With flu season upon us, it is a good idea to take action to stay germ free. Taking precautions and getting rid of bad germs will make you less likely to get sick. To prepare for the fight against bad germs, make sure you have plenty of sanitizer and antimicrobial products. Sanitizer helps kill germs while antimicrobial products kill those pesky microorganisms and stops them from spreading. Two great products of ours that have antimicrobial properties are our Antimicrobial CanDo® Foam Rollers and our CanDo® Antimicrobial TheraPutty® Plus.

The Antimicrobial CanDo® Foam Roller is our regular white foam roller with an antimicrobial additive that makes it beige. Just like our white foam roller, the antimicrobial roller offers both round and half round versions, as well as different sizes. These rollers are made of polyurethane and can be used for various stretches and exercises. The big difference between the regular white foam roller and the beige foam roller is the antimicrobial coating. This coating helps when the antimicrobial foam roller is put on the ground. Bad germs are less likely to attach themselves to the foam roller and spread on it.

The CanDo® Antimicrobial TheraPutty® features the same great features as our regular TheraPutty® but it has an antimicrobial additive. Sometimes people’s hands have bad germs from being sick or just from getting dirty. When those hands touch TheraPutty®, germs can transfer onto the putty and remain there. Antimicrobial TheraPutty® Plus comes in handy with these types of situations, especially when the hand putty is used in a clinic where multiple people are touching it throughout the day.

To stay sanitary and free of germs it good choice to have products with antimicrobial properties. Choosing to use these products will continue to keep you healthy though flu season. As always, its best to consult with your physical therapist or specialist before using either of these products.
